Augsburg is the seat of the Swabian regional government and, after Munich and Nuremberg, the third-largest city in Bavaria. The regional economy is shaped by mechanical and plant engineering, automation and drive technology, aerospace suppliers, environmental technology and a large number of family-owned manufacturers. That shifts what customers ask for: less greenfield cloud work, more rebuilding of production IT that has grown over decades — server renewal and hyperconverged clusters, a clean separation of office and shop-floor networks, immutable backups as ransomware protection, hardening against CIS Benchmarks, and replacing conventional passwords with device-bound or hardware-based sign-in.

Because our office is here, on-site work in Augsburg and the surrounding area is something we can schedule rather than an exception: workshops and requirements sessions, walkthroughs of server rooms and cabling, attendance at cutover appointments, handing over and registering security keys in person. The delivery model stays the same as everywhere else we work — engineering remote, on-site time where presence changes the outcome.

Our service hours are Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 17:00 CET, excluding public holidays in Bavaria; monitoring and automated detection run continuously as a technical matter, while on-call availability outside service hours and a managed SOC are contractual add-ons. Regulation hits many companies in the region directly: the German NIS2 implementation act has been in force since 6 December 2025, affected entities must register with the Federal Office for Information Security, and significant incidents are reported in three stages — early warning within 24 hours, follow-up report within 72 hours, final report within one month. Those deadlines are only met by organisations that sorted out logging, ownership and reporting paths beforehand. That is where our projects in Augsburg and Swabia begin.
